DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Skilled Technician - Level IV to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Fletcher, NC.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Utilize Comprehensive Knowledge : Apply your expertise to perform skilled activities that support manufacturing needs, ensuring the use of appropriate resources, tools, and equipment.
  • Ensure Safety : Adhere to safety protocols, report hazards, and use personal protective equipment to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Promote Environmental Responsibility : Recognize and minimize the environmental impact of your work, contributing to the company's sustainability efforts.
  • Maintain High Quality Standards : Follow quality procedures, perform inspections, and support equipment failure analysis to ensure high standards of workmanship and minimize costs.
  • Achieve Production Goals : Operate equipment proficiently, perform maintenance tasks, and adapt quickly to changes in the manufacturing environment to meet business goals.
  • Lead and Coordinate : Act as a formal resource by leading and coordinating team members, providing guidance and support to those with less capability.
  • Enhance Communication : Communicate effectively with your team and support staff, participating in training and development to improve processes and employee growth.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement : Actively identify issues, implement solutions, and participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams to enhance quality, safety, and efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Significant work experience and in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training and relevant experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Additional Information:

Position requires familiarity with DOM process, operational understanding of Housing FAB lines, ability to motivate employees either through communication or leading by example.
