DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Senior Consumer Sales Executive - PG to join our team specializing in sales for our Cummins' business in Henderson, CO.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Increase Sales Opportunities : By identifying, researching, and contacting prospective customers, you'll develop opportunities to boost sales and expand the customer base.
  • Execute Strategic Account Plans : Developing and executing account plans for top prospects and conducting face-to-face sales calls will help secure new business and strengthen relationships.
  • Build and Strengthen Customer Relationships : Developing new customer relationships and enhancing existing ones will enable you to understand customer needs, business models, and buying processes, leading to tailored solutions.
  • Offer Tailored Solutions : Using your understanding of customer needs and priorities, you'll identify and offer Cummins solutions that meet their specific requirements, gaining agreement on the value proposition.
  • Negotiate and Manage Accounts : Conducting negotiations according to company guidelines, assisting with accounts receivables, and maintaining acceptable levels of past due accounts will ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Drive Sales and Customer Satisfaction : Achieving sales targets, ensuring customer satisfaction, and responding to customer concerns in a timely manner will drive sales and foster long-term relationships.
  • Utilize Sales Tools and Processes : Consistently using the Cummins Sales Process, Customer Relationship Management tools, and other initiatives will support sales efforts, customer satisfaction, and value creation.
  • Provide Leadership and Collaboration : Providing leadership and mentoring to less experienced account executives, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and customers to balance inventory, service, and delivery capabilities with customer expectations, will enhance team performance and customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Business Insight and Channel Awareness : Apply your knowledge of the business and marketplace to advance organizational goals, and explain industry structure and dynamics to contextualize the path to market.
  • Effective Communication and Customer Focus : Develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of different audiences' needs, and build strong customer relationships to deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Articulating Value Proposition and Negotiations Excellence : Interpret customer needs to explain and demonstrate products, solutions, and services, and utilize negotiation tools and methods to achieve mutually agreed-upon contract terms.
  • Account Planning and Strategy Development : Identify objectives to drive business and account strategy execution, and determine the current status of accounts to define achievable targets aligned with the business strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

  • Required: College, university, or equivalent degree in Marketing, Sales or a related subject, or acceptable sales related work experience, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
  • Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.

Additional Details:

  • The role is based in Henderson, CO, but candidates from Wyoming and Montana are welcome to apply. Please note that there is no relocation assistance for this position.
  • A clear understanding and mindset around relationship selling, where the value proposition, and leveraging other opportunities.
  • Knowledge of sales cycle processes, such as Salesforce/CPQ, and an understanding of the importance of support functions like Inside Sales in closing deals.
  • Openness to learning, embracing new concepts, and challenging the status quo.
  • Familiarity with the Consumer business from a PG Solutions perspective.

Compensation

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
