DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Business Development Specialist to join our team specializing in Sales for our New & Recon Parts (NRP) in United Arab Emirates, Dubai
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :
- Identify New Opportunities: You'll pinpoint new business opportunities within specific product segments, markets, regions, or channels, driving growth and expansion.
- Collaborate Strategically: By working closely at different levels with distributors you'll help identify and pursue targeted market segments and product lines.
- Analyse Market Data: Key to understand EPR for the region and associated potential You'll gather and analyse data from stakeholders to support the identification and prioritization of market and product segment opportunities.
- Prospect and Research: You'll prospect and identify specific local business opportunities and target accounts, conducting thorough customer research with the help of distributors to understand their needs and challenges.
- Develop Relationships: You'll build and maintain business relationships at different levels with distributors, potential accounts and helping them recognize the unique advantages of Cummins solutions.
- Support Sales Initiatives: You'll help to develop and support new business proposals, negotiate and close new sales
- Communicate Insights: You'll engage with related stakeholders and communicate important developments time to time
- Mentor and Motivate: You'll mentor and develop less experienced sales and account team staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Strong Relationship Management Skills: Develop, manage, and maintain business relationships with distributors and key accounts to support the organization's sales strategy and ensure profitable growth.
- Ensures profitable growth while engaging with distributors on business opportunities to improve wallet of share & customer base
- Collaborative Mindset: Work effectively with various functions such as channel management, strategy, and marketing, and collaborate closely with distributors on forecasts and engagement with factory/global demand planning.
- Supports cross business unit account development and strategy
- Strategic Planning Abilities: Develop and execute strategies and customer support plans for targeted accounts in close collaboration with distributors, integrating customer perspectives to enhance sales content and meet customer needs.
- Initiates, Supports and executes different projects / initiatives
- Leadership and Mentorship: Mentor, motivate, and coach distribution sales team members or new hires, while leading and coordinating communication at appropriate levels to support cross-business unit account development and strategy.
- Leads, manages and coordinates communication at appropriate levels.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/ Experience
- College, university, or equivalent degree in marketing, sales, technical or a related subject required, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations
