We are looking for a talented RMEP Machining Operations Leader to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for Cummins, Inc. in Rocky Mount, NC.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Manufacturing Leadership : Drive results and focus on continuous improvement in operations.
- Safety and Quality Standards : Set and monitor expectations in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

- Strategic Planning : Lead the development of the annual operating plan, forecasts, and other key measurements.
- Performance Monitoring : Create and monitor measures to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.

- Goal Setting : Work with employees to set goals in training, development, performance, and career planning.
- Motivation and Engagement : Provide motivation and set clear expectations to drive team engagement and productivity.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
- College, university, or equivalent degree required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Significant level of relevant work experience, including managerial, leadership, and budgetary experience, required.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Responsible for meeting daily production targets across multiple lines producing cylinder heads and blocks for the B and C/L engine families.
- Work with peer group in Safety, Quality, Engineering, and Materials functions to improve Machining business performance.
- Lead team managers and operating team across all three shifts, comprising of over 200 hourly employees.
- Key member of the machining leadership team to improve business performance and oversee the start-up and sustainability of new production lines.
