DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Quality Technician - Reman Assembly to join our team specializing in Quality for our Cummins Inc. facility in Ladson, SC .
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Supporting Engineers : By assisting in production-related and inspection tasks, you will help ensure smooth operations and high-quality output.
- Quality Monitoring : Your role in monitoring materials quality and making necessary adjustments will be crucial in maintaining product standards.
- Documentation Maintenance : Keeping accurate records and documentation will support traceability and compliance with industry standards.
- Defect Identification : Comparing physical characteristics to technical specifications will help identify defects early, preventing potential issues down the line.
- Testing and Reporting : Conducting tests and preparing technical reports will provide valuable data for decision-making and product improvement.
- Collaborates - Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. This involves identifying and addressing challenges collectively, leveraging the diverse skills and perspectives of all team members. Through effective problem-solving and open communication, we can achieve shared goals and foster a cohesive, productive environment.
- Measurement Studies : Participating in measurement uncertainty studies will contribute to the reliability and accuracy of measurement and calibration results.

Education/Experience
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Additional Information
- Turbo knowledge/technical manufacturing knowledge.
- This position is responsible for supporting Lambda (All Zones) 1st Shift Process Quality.
- Primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Daily Inspection of discrepant parts before they hit assembly line.
- Documenting issues for MNC/PNC with proper pictures.
- Containing discrepant parts from Supplier and sending for training.
- Assist with scrap reduction projects.
