DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Quality Technician to join our team specializing in Quality for our Quality Department in Daventry, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Ensuring product quality by comparing components, materials, and equipment against technical specifications, identifying defects, and ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Conducting tests and analysis to assess electrical function, reliability, and packaging quality, contributing to the overall assurance of product performance.
  • Supporting engineers with production tasks and inspections, helping to maintain high-quality outputs in the manufacturing process.
  • Providing accurate measurement data using various testing and measurement equipment, assisting in decision-making and quality control.
  • Maintaining thorough documentation of test results and technical reports, enabling clear communication of findings and supporting process improvements.
  • Assisting customers with product specifications by helping them interpret and understand measurement data, ensuring they have the necessary information for application.
  • Participating in uncertainty studies related to measurement and calibration, contributing to precision and accuracy in the testing process.
  • Ensuring equipment is properly maintained and calibrated, which supports the accuracy and reliability of all measurement and testing activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

  • Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.

The compensation for this role is aligned with a local bargained or unionized agreement.
