DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Project Manager - Marine to join our team specializing in Project Management for our Marine Engines in Türkiye .

The role is hybrid and can be based at any Cummins location site in Turkey (Izmit, Istanbul, Bursa).

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :

  • Delivering Projects Successfully: Ensuring customer sales projects are completed within the allocated time and budget, meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • Supporting Sales Teams: Providing sales managers and proposals team with accurate and timely information on costs and timelines, enabling them to make informed decisions.
  • Leading Development Projects: Planning and leading small-scale derivative development projects, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Enhancing Financial Transparency: Compiling and analyzing financial data to provide clear insights and transparency on completed projects.
  • Effective Project Management: Managing, developing, and implementing projects of varying complexity and size, ensuring successful completion in assigned functional areas.
  • Facilitating Collaboration: Partnering with business stakeholders to establish project performance goals, design project plans, and track progress against objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identifying, tracking, and resolving project issues, managing project risks, and using quality tools to find solutions.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Documenting and sharing team learnings with other teams, enhancing overall project success through collective experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Project Planning Basics: Understanding the fundamentals of project planning, including setting objectives, timelines, and milestones.
  • Financial Basics: Knowledge of financial principles to manage budgets, analyze costs, and ensure financial transparency.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain detailed records.
  • Reliability and Self-Determination: Being dependable and self-motivated to drive projects forward, meet deadlines, and achieve goals independently.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

  • College, university, or equivalent degree required.
  • Engineering and marine backgrounds are welcomed, with experience in commercial and recreational project requirements.
  • Having basic knowledge of the regulatory framework (IMO, class) is beneficial.
