DESCRIPTION
Manage the project management activities for assigned functional areas. Coordinate, prioritize, negotiate, and manage the execution of all assigned projects and contracts. Drive resolution and approval of project plan, lead analysis, project identification, budget and integration. Use cross functional knowledge in the design and development of project plans to improve the overall effectiveness of Manufacturing Operations Excellence. Manage multiple Value Package Introduction (VPI) programs as manufacturing core team member. Engage with Plant Manufacturing Engineering and supply chain team to support VPI and NBS project deliverables. Organize customer requirements utilizing Voice of the Customer and track status of project deliverables. Apply Value Package Profile (VPP) and other scope-defining documents to manage Tech Profiles and communicate between multiple levels of scope detail. Manage analysis, project identification, design, budget, communication and integration of project plans. Responsible for approving business workflows and project design, assess business needs, project manager capabilities and available project budgets. Utilize Schedule Management Tools to manage complex schedules integrating multiple sub-projects and coach "should mapping" sessions. Assist with issue resolution, monitor project team status, team budget, and advise project managers on the design and development of project plans and timelines. Apply Resource Plan Management skills to develop and coordinate resource portfolios. Lead team in developing process FMEA (Failure modes and effects analysis) and /or 9-box project risk summary and identify and manage the actions to mitigate risks utilizing experience with Project Risk Management. Monitor project success measures and evaluate the status of specific projects and assignments.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Positions require a Master's degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience as an Industrial, Manufacturing or Quality Engineer, Project Manager or related position. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience as an Industrial, Manufacturing or Quality Engineer, Project Manager, or related position. Experience to include: Cross functional knowledge in designing and developing of project plans; Value Package Introduction; Voice of the Customer; Value Package Profile (VPP); Schedule Management Tools; Resource Plan Management; FMEA (Failure modes and effects analysis); Project Risk Management.
