DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Production Scheduling Coordinator to join our Team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our Upfit Center in Ankeny, IA.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Under general supervision, develop, plan and establish production schedules to meet customer demand while maximizing production efficiency, Plant and Employee capacity and new business opportunities.
- Work to align and optimize raw material (RM) stocking strategies with Material Planners, work in process (WIP) with Operations and finished good (FG) stocking strategies with Materials Department and Customer Service.
- Take ownership and accountability for the delivery of a production schedule that supports end Customer needs by understanding risks (downtime, material shortages, etc..) to minimize impact on the production schedule.
- Collect Master Data (Bill of Material, Work Center & Capabilities, etc..) to support Plan for Every Part (PFEP) and ensure applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures are followed while working with Quality Department to disposition non-confirming material in timely manner.
- Collect data to identify problematic areas (bottlenecks, routings, kitting, Kan Ban, etc..) and suggest process improvements. Enter pre-approved changes to the production schedule inside the time fence (emergency and trading zones).
- Adhere and engage to all our relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, trainings and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor.
- Communicate effectively within assigned Team and all supporting departments while remaining flexible to perform other miscellaneous duties as required to meet business goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
- One to four years of relevant work experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, generating reports and knowledge of SAP preferred, ability to learn new systems required to do the job effectively.
- Ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, communicate professionally and effectively, take ownership and drive a project/task effectively and efficiently.
- Must be comfortable working in a time-on task/production cell environment, working closely with Team Members to meet production goals and delivery targets.
- Please note, this is a hybrid position (minimum 2 days onsite at Ankeny Upfit Center and maximum of 3 days working remote).
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Licenses, Certifications
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- This position does not require any Department of Transportation (DOT) related pre-screenings.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
