A Power Generation Project Manager is a professional responsible for overseeing and managing the planning, execution, and successful completion of power generation projects.
These projects typically involve the engineering, commissioning, and maintenance of various types of Power Generation equipment and associated balance of plant (BOP) vendors. The Project Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.
Skills, Qualifications required/desirable.
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field
- Project management certification (PMP etc.) is a plus.
- Intermediate level of relevant work experience (at least +5 years)
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- In-depth knowledge of power generation technologies, regulations, and industry standards.
- Ability to handle complex technical and operational challenges.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Aggressiveness on wider scope of work than normal PM role

- Lead any type of communication with customers and BOP vendors such as commercial, technical & project schedule/plan.
- Manage and prepare quality related documents with support from the Cummins factory and BOP vendors.
