DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented People Advisor to join our team specializing in Human Resources for our HR Operations Department in Kitwe, Zambia.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Enhancing HR Processes: By deploying and ensuring the effectiveness of various HR processes, you'll streamline operations and improve overall efficiency within the organization.
- Resolving Issues: Partnering with managers and employees to address and resolve issues will foster a more harmonious and productive work environment.
- Data-Driven Improvements: Compiling and analyzing HR metrics will allow you to identify trends and recommend improvements, driving better decision-making.
- Conflict Resolution: Assisting in conflict resolution and providing coaching will help maintain a positive workplace culture and support employee well-being.
- Performance Management: Participating in performance management activities, including employee development planning, will contribute to the growth and development of the workforce.
- Recruitment and Staffing: Providing staffing and recruiting support will ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Compensation and Benefits: Facilitating the compensation process and benefits administration will help maintain competitive and fair compensation practices.
- Compliance and Training: Managing HR policies and procedures, advising on legislative compliance, and coordinating training activities will ensure the organization remains compliant and employees are well-trained.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Strong HR Process Management Skills: Efficiently manage HR business processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and positive business outcomes. This includes balancing process requirements with business leader needs.
- Effective Consulting Abilities: Collaborate with partners to diagnose and optimize opportunities, providing holistic solutions that balance the needs of employees and the organization.
- Data Management Expertise: Ensure the completeness, accuracy, and compliance of people data with company policies and legislative requirements. Basic knowledge in data analytics will be beneficial.
- Project and Inquiry Handling: Be flexible and capable of handling projects, filing statutory reports, promoting a positive work environment, assisting with onboarding, and resolving employee and manager inquiries. Providing proactive insights to HR and business leaders is also crucial.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/ Experience:
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required.
- Minimal relevant work experience required.
