DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Parts Associate to join our team specializing in Parts for our Distribution Unit in Anchorage, AK.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch parts in the local branch, checking for damage and discrepancies.
- Provide accurate documentation and continual communication to the customer throughout the entire process.
- Work with internal and external customers at parts counter in local branch.
- Complete training in line with business requirements.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
- Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures & regulations.

Education, Licenses, Certifications: High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, generating reports, and advanced level computer skills. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience: Requires some work experience or intermediate level of knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Core responsibilities :
This role is for inside parts sales. This will include walk in, email, and phone customers. Along with over-the-counter parts sales, sales to internal service customers will be required. Outside of parts sales, other duties will include shipping/receiving, inventory control, putting away stock, core reconciliation, and other various parts duties.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, generating reports, and advanced level computer skills.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
- Requires some work experience or intermediate level of knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
- Prior experience in the HD engine/truck/marine industry is preferred, but not a requirement.
- Previous experience with Quick serve, Rapid serve, or Parts.Cummins.Com is preferred, but not a requirement.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
