DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented onsite Operations Administrator to join our team specializing in logistics for our Branch in Kamloops, BC.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Under direct or close supervision, enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock/inventory and training records.
- These activities may include responding to customer escalations, order allocation, part profile & inventory records; preparing reports, training operators, customs compliance processes, domestic and international transportation related procedures and completing forms (receipt, transfer, delivery, dispatch, etc.)
- Develop positive relationships by communicating with internal and external customers by phone and email with the ability to identify and act on opportunities with Customers to support products and services, as appropriate.
- Assist in sourcing and locating complex parts requests using various systems, catalogs and other resources to identify and procure the parts in the most cost and time efficient manner.
- Perform other routine administrative activities according to the Organizations established procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, generating reports and ability to learn new systems required to do the job effectively. Accounts Payable and knowledge of Ariba System preferred.
- Prior parts in Heavy Duty/On Highway experience required, HHP experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate in a positive and professional manner in person, over the phone and via email communications.
- Please note, this is a first shift position. The hours are 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Wednesday through Saturday. Experience working in a Union environment preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Licenses, Certifications
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- ITA Certificate Red Seal - Parts Person preferred.
