The Heat Treatment Operator, as part of a training program, develops skills in a manufacturing environment under direct supervision. This position involves learning safe work protocols for working with electricity and other energy sources, as well as handling industrial equipment and specific technical knowledge.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Identify and report occupational hazards.
- Comply with HSE regulations and participate in training.
- Use personal protective equipment.
- Promote an interdependent work culture focused on safety.
- Support equipment failure analysis and perform quality inspections.
- Document processes and provide feedback on preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot problems to minimize costs and improve processes.
- Develop skills required to meet job qualifications.
- Perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance activities.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Communicate effectively with the team and other collaborators.
- Ensure the operation of the furnace, presses, straightening and rope annealing.
- Performs loading activity (15-20kg).
- Work area exposed to high temperatures
Qualifications

Experiencia mínima: 1 año
Responsibilities
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Minimal to no experience required; on-the-job training is a priority.
- Rotating shifts: Day, afternoon and night.
- Availability: Work overtime and under specific conditions (high temperatures and physical load of 15-20 kg).
- Basic-intermediate knowledge of HMI boards.
- Ability to perform activities such as assembling and changing tooling.
- Familiarity with visual aids, tracking and control plans.
