Serves as a contact for facility health, safety, and environmental issues.
Helps to develop and implement safety, health, environmental and emergency preparedness programs and training.
Conducts occupational safety and environmental audits with facility Health, Safety and Environmental Management Team.
Coordinates projects related to facility health, safety and environmental needs.
Serves as the co-chair for facility Safety, Health and Wellness Committees.
Maintains health, safety, environmental and emergency preparedness benchmark program.
May assist with facility emergency preparedness for Emergency Response Medical Teams.
Initiates, develops, leads, and participates in improvement processes; actively participates in self- and team audits and resulting process improvements.
Develops and conducts training programs.
Counsels, mentors, and coaches less experienced team members.
Understands the structure of the organization and maintains a strong network across departments; draws on network to answer questions, solve problems, and successfully execute responsibilities. Demonstrates confidentiality in execution of all responsibilities.
Performs other duties as required, to get the job done.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
A College, University or equivalent degree in Industrial Safety or related field preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft office applications required.
Experience:
Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Four year experience/education requirement accomplished through one of the following: Bachelors degree, associates degree and at least two years of relevant experience, or at least four years of relevant experience required.
QUALIFICATIONS
This role will manage the CTC Management of Change Program. This includes setting agendas, setting up meetings, taking notes, tracking actions, communicating with stakeholders, participating in risk assessments, and taking action to follow up and close out projects.
This role will also support the HSE team by providing general HSE support - including issuing HSE permits, participating in site events, organizing site events, supporting engagement opportunities, entering and managing metrics as needed, and providing day to day support for the team.
This role will also have key responsibilities in the site HSE Management System. This will include owning system documents, managing system activities, supporting management review and collaborating with stakeholders.
This role will also engage with others in the team to support training efforts for the site.
