DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
Under direct supervision of a medical provider (physician), provides injury assessment and care to site personnel, manages occupational health programs per corporate policy, maintains health records as required by local regulations, works cross-functionally to solve complex problems.

- Health Resource and First Responder : Providing injury assessment and care, and acting as the site health resource, ensures immediate and effective response to health issues.
- Proactive Hazard Reporting : Stopping work and reporting major injury hazards promptly will prevent potential accidents and injuries.
- Health Surveillance and Case Management : Supporting health surveillance initiatives and the Case Management process will help in monitoring and managing employee health effectively.
- Training and Engagement : Organizing and delivering health training programs, and participating in employee engagement initiatives, will drive a culture of health and wellness.
- Quality and Teamwork : Following quality procedures, performing checks, and communicating effectively with teams will contribute to overall operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Education, Licenses, Certifications: High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. A two year University degree from an accredited program in Nursing or related field of study required. CPR and First Aid training required. Experience: Significant work experience and in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training and experience in occupational health or related field.
QUALIFICATIONS
Responsibilities.
- Case Management for workman's compensation claims.
- Emergency Response Team Management including response, training, documentation, inspections, and scenarios/drills.
- Injury & Illness Prevention - wellness programs, early intervention, risk analysis.
Requirements:
- Ability to teach CPR/AED/First Aid training.
- Emergency Responder, Paramedic, or other similar medical certifications.
Preference:
- OSHA 30hr.
