DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Material Recovery Technician - Level IV to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Rocky Mount, NC .

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Independent Operation : You will independently operate machines and production equipment, ensuring adherence to quality and productivity requirements.
  • Leadership and Coordination : By acting as a formal resource, you will lead and coordinate others, enhancing overall team performance and efficiency.
  • Adaptability : You will quickly and effectively adapt to changes in the manufacturing environment, maintaining productivity and minimizing disruptions.
  • Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance : You will stop work and report major injury hazards immediately, comply with HSE standards, and use appropriate personal protective equipment, contributing to a safer workplace.
  • Quality Assurance : By following standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures, you will perform quality inspections and identify non-conforming materials, helping to minimize cost and quality exposures.
  • Delivery and Efficiency : You will achieve production goals, operate equipment proficiently, maintain a clean and orderly work area, and perform planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
  • Team Collaboration : You will communicate effectively with your team and support teams, completing training and personal development in line with business requirements, and leading improvements in quality, safety, process, and material flow.

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
  • Significant work experience and in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training and relevant experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Additional Information

  • The MRB tech will be responsible for dispositioning the material ATPUK places on the MRB carts and auditing the MRB process within all ATPUK teams.
  • This work will require knowledge of the assembly process, parts of the engine, as well as working with the manager/CLTs from the various teams.
