DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Marketing (School to Work) - Hybrid (Student)to join our team specializing in Marketing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Troy, MI.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Enhance Decision-Making : By assisting product managers and analysts with detailed analytical work, you'll provide crucial insights that drive informed decisions.
- Optimize Pricing Strategies : Your support in developing a pricing scheme for Defense products will help ensure competitive and profitable pricing.
- Improve Customer Satisfaction : By supporting the Customer Service Manager with Open Order Board reviews and expediting shipments, you'll help maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Streamline Operations : Your research on the last production dates for ATI and Fabco will help streamline production planning and inventory management.
- Maintain Accurate Records : Updating the AS/400 system with model information ensures that all data is current and accurate, aiding in efficient operations.
- Boost Efficiency : Your detailed analytical work will identify areas for process improvements, leading to greater operational efficiency.
- Support Strategic Planning : By providing accurate and timely data, you'll support strategic planning and long-term business goals.
- Facilitate Communication : Your role in expediting shipments and updating systems will facilitate better communication and coordination across departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Time Management : Balancing your full-time studies in Marketing or Automotive Aftermarket with your job responsibilities will require excellent time management skills.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency : Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data analysis, will be crucial. Familiarize yourself with advanced functions, pivot tables, and data visualization tools.
- Pattern Recognition Skills : Develop your ability to identify trends and patterns in data. This will be essential for analytical tasks and supporting product managers.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in your research and data entry tasks. This will help maintain the integrity of the AS/400 system and other databases.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication will be key when supporting the Customer Service Manager and collaborating with different departments.
Education/Experience:
Must be a full-time college student working toward a degree in Marketing / Automotive Aftermarket
