We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Support Technician - Wood Pad (1st Shift) to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Components Business Segment team in Florence, SC .

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Performs non production activities which support the manufacturing processes in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.
- Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures & regulations.
- Raises quality concerns to minimize cost and exposures.
- Perform the activities expected by their roles in accordance with defined roles and responsibilities.
- Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet manufacturing goals.
- Participates actively in the identification of ways in which to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Licenses, Certifications
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
- Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
- The manufacturing support technician is responsible to sort wood for the production of assemblies that meet all customer quality requirements.
- The manufacturing support associate is responsible to adhere to and support all quality, safety, production goals, and requirements.
- The manufacturing support technician is required to exercise sound judgement in reacting to problems inherent to the material flow.
- The manufacturing support technician will perform duties associated with wood maintenance and storage including but not limited to:
- Segregating, sorting and organizing wood dunnage by size, quality, and type.
- Bailing cardboard for recycle.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Responsible for other wood and recycling efforts as identified by leadership.
