We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Operator to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Power Systems Business Segment in Daventry.

This is up to a 24-month Temporary contract, with a possible opportunity to transfer onto a permanent contract.

Working 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday. Will need to be fully flexible to work across the following shift patterns:
  • Mornings 07:00am to 3.00pm
  • Afternoons 3.00pm to 11.00pm Monday to Thursday, Friday finish 10.30pm
  • Nights 11.00pm to 7.00am Sunday to Thursday
Salary is up to £29,898.39 based on skillset and experience, plus shift allowance for afternoons & night shift. Possibility for pay to increase to £32,554.31 after training milestones have been met.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
  • Use a variety of CNC machines to produce high quality cylinder blocks
  • Working with machinery
  • Working within a team
  • Following all Health & Safety processes
  • Participates actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development
  • Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks
Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:
  • Previous experience of operating CNC machines to produce high quality parts is preferred
  • Successful candidates will possess the ability to understand instruction and work under their own initiative within the recognised process, with a good level of numeracy and literacy
  • They will be PC or Handheld Terminal literate with a good appreciation of quality standards and health and safety requirements
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, automotive or engineering desirable but training will be given
