DESCRIPTION
Leads and executes the preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance of production equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, leading maintenance operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- APPU Equipment Reliability: Lead and execute preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance to ensure production equipment operates reliably and efficiently.
- Health and Safety Fundamentals: Support and demonstrate proactive health and safety behaviors to build an interdependent culture and contribute to an injury-free workplace.
- Controls Safety: Recognize controls-related hazards in a manufacturing environment and incorporate safe practices and procedures (LOTO and APM).
- Team Leadership: Guide and inspire maintenance teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Employee Development: Coach line employees on basic maintenance procedures to enhance skills and contribute to operational efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with IP, Quality, Operation, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to support and resolve equipment issues, improving overall production quality and efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Maintain spare parts and indirect materials inventory using a computerized maintenance management system to ensure necessary resources are available, minimizing downtime.
- Engineering Contributions: Participate in equipment engineering design evaluations to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
- Preventative Maintenance Leadership: Lead preventative maintenance processes to ensure equipment availability and capability, reducing unexpected breakdowns and production delays.
- Project Management: Manage Opex/Capex projects within budget and timeline.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Experience:
- Intermediate level of relevant work experience required (Assembly, Testing, Painting, and Upfit area maintenance).
- Experience handling/leading Assembly, Testing, and Paint shop maintenance teams while ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
- Ability to handle teams of contractual and supplier personnel.
- Experience managing Opex/Capex projects within budget and timeline.
- PLC and system-related knowledge for CBM, CMES, online OEE system implementation, and sustenance.
- Good knowledge of Electronics/Electrical Engineering concepts.
- Experience of fault finding and root cause analysis

- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, controls engineering, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
