DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Logistics Warehouse Manufacturing Leader Senior (2nd Shift) to join our team in Logistics for our Power Systems Business in Fridley, MN.

Job Summary:

Provides operations leadership for small or medium size warehouse or Distribution Center, shift or department. Manages one or multiple shifts of warehouse operations including transportation and packaging. Provide safe working environment for all Cummins and contract employees. Ensure internal and external customer requirements are met through the Cummins Operating System.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

  • Leadership in Operations: Guide warehouse operations with a focus on safety, quality, production, and cost.
  • Strategic Communication: Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and staff.
  • Planning and Forecasting: Oversee the annual operating plan and forecasts for distribution center operations.
  • Supply Chain Development: Enhance supply chain capabilities and align employee goals with organizational initiatives.
  • Values and Community Focus: Uphold organizational values, emphasizing diversity and community engagement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead projects that improve processes and align with the company's operational system.
  • Problem-Solving and Analysis: Strategically address issues and improve key performance indicators.
  • Team Management: Manage and develop staff, focusing on training, performance, and career progression.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related subject required. MBA preferred.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

  • Moderate level of relevant work experience required.

QUALIFICATIONS

*Qualifications for Internal Candidates

  • 2nd Shift (3PM-11PM) Sr. Warehouse Leader, responsible for managing multiple teams to support daily operations.
  • Aptitude to manage transformative projects in their departments that drive improvements in core KPI's.
  • Works cross-functionally to manage and problem solve complex issues to maintain service level uptime.
  • Develops and grows Operators and Team Leaders to harness their full potential.
  • Open to change and willing to implement new ideas to drive safety culture and process improvements.
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills.
  • Extensive experience managing multiple levels of teams to success required.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.

Base salary range: 74,800.00 - 112,200.00

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate.

Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
