This role provides a unique opportunity to conduct in-depth research on current and emerging trends in vehicle automation and driver assistance systems across multiple market segments. You'll work closely with technical experts to analyze industry advancements, regulatory landscapes, and strategic opportunities. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Graduated and/or to be graduated with bachelor or masters degree in marketing, business, sales, economy, with an interest in automotive and a technical affinity with mechatronics and/or advanced driving systems
- Or graduated and/or to be graduated with bachelor or masters degree in engineering, with an interest in automotive and specialised in mechatronics and/or advanced driving systems
- Good mastery of office programs such as excel and powerpoint
- Fluent in English
- Good communicator
- Strong generative AI skills to be able with the help of AI to summarise the relevant questions and project.
- The role has an important international exposure seen the collaboration with the interns and teams in both Europe and the US
- Strong analytical and research skills with an interest in automotive technology and market trends.
- Background in engineering, business, or a related field.
- Ability to interpret technical and regulatory information and translate it into actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Main body of activity will be in collaboration with interns in North America through sprints for at 6 to 10 weeks - finalization of the project will rest with the candidate in Italy
- This will be done with the support of the CDBS strategy team, the CDBS advanced engineering team and Cummins' corporate strategy team
- Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the automotive industry to identify key trends in vehicle safety and automation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to synthesize insights and provide strategic recommendations for future development.
