DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented IT Support Associate - Level II to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Cummins Inc. facility in Fletcher, NC.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Enhancing IT Resource Availability : Ensure IT resources are effective, efficient, and accurate helps maintain smooth operations for end users.
- Collaborative Problem Solving : Working collaboratively with others will foster a supportive environment and improve overall team performance.
- Effective Troubleshooting : Diagnosing and solving IT hardware or software issues will minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
- Incident Management : Using the Incident Management system to log and manage issues will streamline support processes and improve response times.
- Training and Mentorship : Providing one-on-one training for less experienced associates will build a stronger, more knowledgeable team.
- Adherence to Standards : Following documented processes and department standards will ensure consistency and reliability in IT support.
- Escalation and Resolution : Escalating unresolved issues appropriately will ensure critical problems are addressed promptly.
- SLA Familiarity : Understanding and adhering to SLA/Operational Level Agreements will help maintain service quality and meet organizational expectations.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience (to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations) required.
Relevant industry training, certification or equivalent experience preferred.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.

- Proven track record of supporting a wide variety of technology products including PCs, Servers, Networking, IOT devices, Phones, etc.
- Works well in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to juggle competing priorities.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
This is an on-site role.
Typical workdays are Monday-Friday but some weekends or holidays may be required depending on the needs of the business.
This role will support the Fletcher & Forest City, NC plants & warehouses, so minimal travel between sites (not more than an hour) will be required occasionally.
