DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management (30%) :
- Collaborate with programmer analysts, architects, end-to-end designers, and business stakeholders to understand functional and technical requirements.
- Analyze requirements and architecture vision to propose Salesforce and/or design solutions as required.
- Ensure all assumptions, dependencies, and design considerations are documented, reviewed, and approved by the Central Design Authority.
- Specialize in designing Salesforce digital platforms.
- Engage in ongoing projects involving Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service, CPQ, and Experience Cloud, with a comprehensive grasp of Salesforce Core.
- Motivate development teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for Salesforce technology, understanding its potential benefits for customers and end users.
- Assist existing customers and accounts, understand challenges, and provide solutions for a win-win situation.
- Foster a collaborative mindset, prioritizing teamwork and celebrating shared successes.
- General Product Planning (70%) :
- Manage and mentor a team of Enterprise Architects and/or Solution Architects in delivering standards and guidelines for critical business systems.
- Drive the definition and adoption of architecture design principles, reference architectures, and patterns by Corporate and federated Architects.
- Oversee project architecture delivery through federated Architects.
- Handle People Management, including work plan development, performance management, and people development.
- Build and develop teams, including recruiting and global team management.
- Ensure team adherence to all IT processes, policies, and procedures, including IT Security.
- Deliver enterprise architectural deliverables for both "off the shelf" software and Cummins-developed software.
- Report on team performance, including metrics and deliverable status.
- Maintain positive relationships with IT and business leaders to promote and communicate IT architecture value proposition.
- Assist Cummins IT/Common Services/Architecture Leadership on IT Strategic Initiatives and Architecture Initiatives as needed.
- Develop strong relationships to deliver business value using Business Relationship Management practices.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
- At least 10+ years of industry experience and 5+ years as a Solution Architect or Technical Architect.
- 10+ years of relevant IT experience preferred in various IT disciplines.
