DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate Application Functionality : Analyze Oracle Demand Planning and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Cloud application functionality and provide solution recommendations to improve business processes and capabilities.
  • Gather and Document Requirements : Partner with process owners, stakeholders, and enterprise architects to gather, document, and review functional, architecture, and technical requirements.
  • Define Technical Solutions : Define optimum application setup, high-level, and detailed technical solution designs.
  • Configure and Verify Applications : Configure and verify Oracle Planning Cloud to meet functional demand planning and S&OP requirements and specifications.
  • Develop Customizations : Design and oversee the development of integration customizations, workflows, and extensions.
  • Subject Matter Expertise : Serve as a subject matter expert and point of contact on content, processes, procedures, and functionality associated with Oracle Planning Cloud.
  • Vendor Relationships : Develop and maintain strong relationships with relevant vendors; work with vendors to improve application functionality and resolve functionality issues.
  • Functional Specifications : Create and manage functional specifications for projects from which programs and configurations will be applied to create the program, application, or complete solution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications:

  • Education : College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required.
  • Licenses/Certifications :
  • Certification in Oracle Planning & Collaboration Cloud Implementation Professional is required.
  • Certification in Oracle Demantra or Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning is highly beneficial.

  • Solution Functional Fit Analysis : Composes and decomposes a system into its component parts using procedures, tools, and work aides to study how well the component parts were designed, purchased, and configured to interact holistically to meet business, technical, security, governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Solution Modeling : Creates, designs, and formulates models, diagrams, and documentation using industry standards, tools, version control, and build and test automation to meet business, technical, security, governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Solution Validation Testing : Validates a configuration item change or solution using the Function's defined best practices, including the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards, tools, and metrics, to ensure that it works as designed and meets customer requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills:

  • Technical Skills : Expertise in Oracle Planning Cloud, demand planning, S&OP software applications, and technical domain knowledge.
  • Analytical Skills : Strong system analysis and design capabilities.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders and vendors.
  • Project Management : Ability to manage projects and deliver solutions using AGILE methodologies.

Experience :

  • 3+ years of implementation experience in Oracle Planning Cloud Solutions (specifically demand planning and sales & operating planning; supply planning knowledge is highly beneficial).
  • 5 or more years of system analysis and design experience, including the creation of functional requirements for enterprise-level business application solutions involving multi-tier client/server, database, or web-based applications.
  • Experience in the full software development lifecycle process.
  • Experience delivering solutions via AGILE methodologies is preferred.
