DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented IT Applications Analyst - Senior to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Daventry Plant in Daventry, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Optimize Application Utilization: By analyzing and evaluating application functionality, you'll recommend ways to increase the use of standard features, enhancing business processes and capabilities.
  • Tailor Application Configuration: You'll determine and document the best application setup and configuration to meet functional requirements, ensuring the system is tailored to the organization's needs.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Developing expertise in emerging application trends, you'll provide functional recommendations that keep the organization at the forefront of technology.
  • Address Functionality Gaps: Through thorough analysis, you'll identify and recommend solutions to address any gaps in application functionality, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, you'll work together to improve application functionality and resolve any issues efficiently.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partnering with process owners, business analysts, systems analysts, and architects, you'll gather and review requirements to define functional designs that align with business goals.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: As a go-to expert on application content, processes, and functionality, you'll provide valuable insights and support for projects and ongoing application maintenance.
  • Create Functional Specifications: You'll create and manage detailed functional specifications, guiding the development and configuration of programs and applications to deliver complete solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Strong Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of Oracle EBS, MES IT solutions, and Oracle ERP R12.2, including experience with EBS technologies, custom development (Reports/Forms, Integrations, SQL, PL/SQL, Python, HTML, JavaScript), and Oracle Database structures and features.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage large-scale IT projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, ensuring high-quality, reusable, and supportable IT solutions.
  • Business Process Understanding: Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end cross-functional supply chain, logistics, and manufacturing business processes to align IT solutions with business needs.
  • Effective Communication and Collaboration: Ability to elicit and understand business requirements, design and build IT solutions, and partner with central IT teams to ensure systems are fully operational and continuously improved.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/ Experience

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required.
  • Intermediate level of relevant work experience required. 3-5 years of experience
