DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Electrician to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Rocky Mount, NC.

Job Summary:

Troubleshoots, assembles, installs, tests and maintains electrical systems using all necessary tools to keep equipment available and capable. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. May work independently and instruct or coach others.

• Compliance and Reporting: Your adherence to HSE standards and prompt reporting of any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards will ensure compliance and enhance workplace safety.

• Environmental Stewardship: Recognizing the environmental impact of your work and striving to minimize negative effects will contribute to sustainable practices.

• Preventive Maintenance: Providing feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system and supporting equipment uptime and downtime failure analysis will help maintain operational efficiency.

• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Your proficiency in troubleshooting, electrical repairs, and maintenance will ensure that equipment operates smoothly and meets applicable codes and standards.

• Team Support and Training: By instructing and coaching others, you'll foster a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment.

• Continuous Improvement: Actively participating in continuous improvement activities and TPM teams will drive enhancements in quality, safety, processes, material flow, and employee development.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Manufacturing Test Equipment Calibrations
  • Background in electrical maintenance
  • Work hours are 9:30pm - 6am
