We are looking for a talented Industrial Maintenance Supervisor to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Components Business Segment in Columbus, IN, US.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Supervises the daily activities of a production unit or teams.
  • Responsible for the daily activities of a production team including managing team members, housekeeping, and meeting production targets.
  • Works cross functionally to recommend and engage in improving safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
  • Serves as group lead on projects and work assignments.
  • Provides guidance and feedback for team members in accomplishing tasks and goals; sets expectations and clarifies responsibilities.
  • Coaches and mentors team members.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • College, university, or equivalent degree required.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

  • This person will develop and manage a Team of Technicians that is responsible for maintaining industrial automation equipment. You must possess the skills to Lead, Organize, Schedule and maintain a steady work environment. You must be able to communicate effectively and display Leadership at a high level you will be expected to problem solve with your team and have quick precise decision-making skills.
  • You will be expected to take calls afterhours and be a lifeline support for the group. You will need to work well under pressure as well as have a great eye for a safe work environment. Must have an understanding with working knowledge of the importance with a Preventative Maintenance program. You will be responsible for supporting asset management as well with new equipment builds.
  • You will be expected to know and be able to read and navigate electrical prints, pneumatic prints, create drawings for small projects. You will work directly with vendors, contractors, and other team members to meet deadlines set by the plant.
  • Must have 5 - 10 years of Industrial Maintenance and Supervisory experience.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
