DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Branch Manager - Segment or Small Geography to join our team specializing in General Management in Albany, GA.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :

  • Strategic Planning and Execution : Develop and manage the Annual Operating Plan with input from Business Development and Branch Managers, ensuring alignment with business goals and monitoring key metrics.
  • Market Growth : Drive business growth by managing annual marketing and sales plans, building and maintaining customer relationships, and developing new business partners and alliances.
  • Customer Satisfaction : Enhance customer satisfaction through effective branch operations, utilizing Net Promoter Score and Lens of the Customer programs to foster a culture of exceptional customer service.
  • Operational Efficiency : Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring all functions and financial metrics are met across branches, and implementing improvements to enhance Repair Event Cycle Time and warranty processes.
  • Compliance and Safety : Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, conducting audits and promoting a culture of corporate responsibility.
  • Employee Development : Recruit, develop, motivate, and retain high-quality customer service employees, managing work plans and Individual Development Plans for Branch Managers to support their growth.
  • Market Analysis : Conduct market analysis to inform strategic decisions and ensure the business remains competitive within the region and globally.
  • Cross-functional Understanding : Develop a deep understanding of Cummins' business across all units, leveraging this knowledge to drive strategic initiatives and improve overall branch performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in required Business Administration, Engineering, or related subject required.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification or Sponsor certification required.

Experience:

  • Significant relevant experience required, including managerial and budgetary experience.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Administration Tasks - as needed be able to perform the tasks of service staff and parts staff (opening work orders, closing work orders, scheduling and dispatching technicians, receiving customer calls, ordering parts, processing vendor invoices).
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, including staff performance, project timelines, and departmental budgets
  • Setting goals for the team based on the company's strategic plans, and assigning weekly performance goals
  • Recruiting, onboarding, and training employees, and conducting performance appraisals
  • Setting policies and processes, and ensuring that the company complies with all regulations
  • Maintaining budgets, identifying areas for improvement, and evaluating operational and financial performance
  • Resolving internal staff conflicts efficiently
  • Providing ongoing feedback to employees, establishing performance expectations, and conducting performance reviews
  • Ensuring positive customer service, responding to complaints, and taking action to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests
  • Ensuring that proper security procedures are in place to protect employees, customers, and company assets
