DESCRIPTION
Responsible for the preparation of highly complex and interpretive financial analyses and reports. Provide key guidance and expertise for the annual operations plan (AOP), expense and/or staffing forecasts and statistical reporting. Utilize financial forecast data to provide forward looking projections to facilitate decision making. Partner with stakeholders to analyze trends and validate assumptions to provide a financial forecast that aligns to the organization's goals and strategies. Evaluate US accounting standards to record transactions in compliance with requirements and company policies. Assess accounting requirements and objectives to determine the implications on the business and communicate to stakeholders with varying financial knowledge. Analyze multifaceted financial data by evaluating results and solutions to guide business decisions, and prepare and present financial information by summarizing data to communicate results in compliance with regulations and stakeholder expectations. Develop strategic partnerships to drive performance that aligns to organizational goals, influence the organization by demonstrating knowledge of the business to provide guidance for decision making processes and guiding the business towards positive results and organizational alignment. Evaluate business environment using measures to mitigate financial risk and capitalize on opportunities. Ensure integrity of financial data by investigating and analyzing variances and determining corrective actions to resolve identified issues as part of cost analysis. Utilize financial experience in manufacturing environments to analyze and prepare forecasting models for marketing and staffing budgets, and perform quantitative analysis of information affecting investment of resources. Work with cost accounting and manufacturing accounting to understand design variances, new product costs, cost structure changes, and variable costs. Develop financial models to evaluate the profitability of new customer acquisitions, pricing agreements and use discounted case flow techniques Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) to model financial impact of new business ventures in new markets. Complete month-end close process in a timely fashion in compliance with SOx (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and liaise with other manufacturing plants to ensure accurate financial results and proper accounting treatments. Provide monthly financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) reports to senior management.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Positions require a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Accountant, or related position. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Accountant, or related position.
