DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Field Service Technician to join our team specializing in Services, Maintenance and Diagnostics for our Field Service Department in Tarkwa, Ghana
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :
- Efficient Repairs: By diagnosing and completing less complex engine repairs at the customer's site, you ensure minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues.

- Issue Escalation: By escalating unresolved issues to more experienced technicians or supervisors, you ensure that complex problems are addressed effectively.
- Accurate Documentation: Completing required documentation accurately helps maintain service records, supports warranty claims, and ensures compliance with quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying additional service opportunities and completing ongoing training ensures you stay updated with the latest skills and business requirements, contributing to overall service excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Tool and Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure all tools are in good working condition and report any issues to your manager. Keep service vehicles neat and in good working order.
- Diagnostic Skills: Translate customer complaints into troubleshooting plans using mechanical and electronic service tools. Validate repairs by duplicating the complaint and document the results for payment and historical tracking.
- Electronic Service Tools: Identify and use the appropriate hardware and software tools for service events. Interpret the results to determine the next steps for service resolution.
- System Analysis and Repair: Analyze interactions of electrical and mechanical systems using tools and service publications. Perform repairs and maintenance following guidelines to ensure quality and minimize customer costs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/ Experience
- Basic level field service work experience
- Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
- Customer service experience
- Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
- Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
- Locally valid driving permit
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
