We are looking for a talented Field Service Technician - Power Generation to join our team for Cummins, Netherlands.

Your tasks

• Completes preventative maintenance and / or basic repair activities on generator or component at the customer site with minimal direction.
• Engages with customers courteously and professionally, ensuring prompt and efficient attention to customer needs;
• Applies the use of specialized tools and follows documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete basic repairs, including preparing required parts and tools;
• Performs preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on power generation products in the field
• Escalates unresolved issues to more experienced Field Service Technicians and/or Supervisor
• Completes required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims via handwritten forms or business system input screens
• Maintains service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation
• Completes training in line with skill and business requirements
• Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation

• Vocational diploma from the relevant technical institution; apprentice trained power generation or electrical technician and relevant electrical certification is preferred;
• Moderate field service work experience (electrical, electro-mechanical, mechatronics background is preferable);
• Good knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products is an advantage;
• Experience with work with High Voltage / Low Voltage products and solutions;
• A locally valid driving permit is mandatory;
• Problem-solving mentality, strong communication skills, team-player approach, and customer service-oriented mind.
• Fluency in English, as these are our main business languages on-site; knowledge of the Dutch language is an advantage;
• You are willing to travel nationally and internationally as required (90% of the working time is dedicated to business trips);
