DESCRIPTION
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Complete complex repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools.
- Disassemble, inspect, clean and reassemble engines and/or engine components.
- Perform preventative maintenance based on assessment of engines.
- Adhere to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues/incidents to their supervisor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Trade certificate (heavy or light vehicle)
- Apprentice trained engine technician (preferred)
- Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, and similar applications is preferred (ideally with an OEM)
