We are looking for a talented Machine Repair Support Specialist to join our team in Columbus, IN!

- Troubleshoots, assembles, installs, tests, and maintains mechanical systems using all necessary tools to keep equipment available and capable. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. May work independently and instruct or coach others.
- Performs work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and specifications using various tools, measuring and testing instruments.
- Fully proficient in performing troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, and maintenance of equipment.
- Perform and documents preventive, emergency, corrective and predictive maintenance activities.
- Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Safety Control - Recognizes controls-related hazards in a manufacturing environment (Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic) to incorporate safe practices and procedures as part of the daily work plan to reduce injuries and create a safe machine environment.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Fundamentals - Champions and models proactive health and safety behaviors by identifying, reporting and participating in actions to improve health and safety in order to build an interdependent culture and contribute to an injury-free workplace.
- Manufacturing Knowledge - Demonstrates the knowledge of manufacturing by correctly implementing changes in current processes, equipment, and applications to meet the function's needs and contribute towards continuous improvement.
- Effective Communication - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
- Ability to work 2nd Shift- 3PM-11:30PM
Experience
- Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
- Able to read hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical blueprints.
- Knowledge of CNC machines is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Education, Licenses, Certifications
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent AND associate's degree with two-four years of relevant experience OR Trade certificate with four years of relevant experience OR Six years of relevant experience OR Department of Labor certification.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Utilize Maximo for job tracking, preventative maintenance, and inventory.
- Work in cross functional team including, operations, engineering, materials, etc.
- Must be able to work from heights, operate a PIV, and Fork truck.
