Key Responsibilities
- Design and automate deployment of distributed systems for data ingestion and transformation.
- Implement frameworks for monitoring data quality and integrity.
- Establish data governance processes for managing metadata and access.
- Provide guidance on building scalable data pipelines.
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot data pipelines.
- Develop large-scale data storage solutions using cloud-based platforms.
- Automate data preparation tasks to improve productivity.
- Ensure the success of critical analytics initiatives using agile methodologies.
- Coach and mentor team members.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Intermediate experience in data engineering.
- Proficiency in SPARK, Scala/Java, SQL, and cloud computing.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
- Experience with Power BI, Python (preferred).
- Knowledge of IoT technology and Agile development (preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Big Data platforms and relational databases.
