DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Customer Engagement - Marketing Manager to join our team specializing in Communication for Cummins, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Play a key role in creating and executing integrated marketing communication plans and assets, collaborating with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, and traditional channels.
- Develop and oversee the creation of engaging and relevant messaging and content that aligns with brand identity and resonates with target audiences.
- Manage and lead a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure team and individual success.
- Plan and execute virtual and in-person events to create memorable experiences and deepen connections to the Cummins brand.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement, and regularly report on marketing KPIs.
- Develop and manage budgets, financial controls, and risk to ensure efficient operations within established budgets.
- Lead and manage digital marketing initiatives, developing and executing digital marketing strategies, and overseeing the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns, including web, paid advertising, social media, and email marketing.

- Marketing Plan Management - Develop comprehensive marketing strategies that effectively balance Product, Price, Promotion, and Placement.Establish metrics to evaluate the success of your marketing efforts and adjust strategies as needed.
- Digital media savvy - Utilize email automation, social media, and content management systems to reach and engage your target audience.Create compelling digital content that drives desired actions from your audience.Keep up with emerging digital media trends and technologies to stay ahead of the curve.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
- College, university, or equivalent degree in marketing or a related subject required.
- Product marketing experience preferred.
- Talent Management experience and experience managing distributed teams highly preferred.
- Digital marketing experience preferred.
- Global perspective and experience preferred.
- B2B experience preferred.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Creative thinker with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using marketing analytics tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement successful marketing campaigns.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Develop strategy to reach targeted customers; create customer communications, including email campaigns and mailers
- Recruit driver advocates and produce driver testimonials (video and written)
- Manage swag incentive program; use data to pilot other incentive programs
- Create multi-platform content to debunk myths and instill trust with customers
- Lead customer event management and execution
- Create and execute influencer engagement strategy
Compensation
