DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Controller - Operations Finance Manager to join our team specializing in Finance for our Corporate Segment in Gabarone, Botswana.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Driving Key Business Metrics: By actively participating as a member of the leadership team, you'll influence the development of business strategies and drive critical business metrics, ensuring alignment with the company's goals.
- Accounting Practices Management: Implementing and managing consistent accounting practices across the business, you'll ensure accuracy and reliability in financial reporting and make recommendations for improvements.
- Financial Reporting and Communication: Leading monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes, you'll facilitate clear and effective finance communication across the entity, presenting financial analysis to business partners.
- Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Forecast Leadership: By managing the AOP and forecast processes, you'll guide the business in meeting cost and working capital targets, ensuring financial stability and growth.
- Control Environment Development: You'll strengthen the control environment across key business cycles, enhancing financial integrity and reducing risks.
- Operational Efficiency and Profitability: Partnering with business leaders, you'll drive operational efficiencies and cost-effectiveness, contributing to the entity's profitability through continuous improvements and growth initiatives.
- Compliance and Regulatory Support: Ensuring financial support for compliance with governmental, regulatory, and local requirements, you'll manage tax and statutory accounting needs effectively.
- Capital Management and Analysis: Leading financial analysis on capital projects, you'll oversee the capital management process at the entity level, optimizing resource allocation to support business initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification required.
