DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Cash Applications Associate - Level II to join our team specializing in Finance for our Cummins Inc. facility in Florence, KY

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Ensuring Accurate Payment Application : By working with internal and external customers, you'll ensure that payments are applied correctly to customer accounts, reducing errors and improving financial accuracy.

Conducting Payment Analysis : Performing basic analysis of payments will help identify discrepancies and ensure that all transactions are recorded accurately.

Managing Cash Applications : Preparing and entering cash applications into the sub ledger will maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records.

Collaborating with Collections Team : Your interactions with collections team to ensure correct payment applications will enhance customer satisfaction and trust.

Coordinating with Cash application vendor : Ensuring that remittance details from customers are sufficient to process receipts will streamline the cash application process.

Supporting Month-End Reporting : Assisting in the preparation of month-end reports will contribute to timely and accurate financial reporting.

Driving Process Improvements : By suggesting and participating in projects related to Cash Application improvement, you'll help enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

Experience:

Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
