RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with business management to identify and prioritize both short-term and long-term projects.
- Perform Feasibility Analysis : Conduct thorough feasibility and needs analyses to determine realistic project timelines and ensure successful project initiation.
- Manage Project Lifecycle : Oversee all aspects of project management, including analysis, identification, design, budgeting, communication, and integration of project plans.
- Approve Workflows and Designs : Evaluate and approve business workflows and project designs to ensure they meet organizational standards and goals.
- Support Project Managers : Assist Project Managers in resolving issues, assessing risks, and developing effective project plans and timelines.
- Monitor and Advise : Keep track of the status of all projects, monitor team budgets, and provide guidance to Project Managers on project design and development.
- Leverage Resources: Ensure that Project Managers utilize cross-functional and external resources effectively, and review project documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Develop and Coach Teams: Manage and delegate project assignments based on team members' availability, abilities, and developmental needs. Provide feedback and coaching to help Project Managers and their teams succeed.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Significant level of experience required. 5-7 years of relevant experience preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
This role is responsible for overseeing and executing projects aimed at optimizing Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes within the DBU, for both Sales & Service and manufacturing operations. This will require a deep understanding of various ERP systems (i.e. OneBMS, GOMS, SAP) and their integrations (APIs, middleware, WMS, etc.)
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with stakeholders to identify O2C process improvement opportunities and clearly define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Sequence and prioritize the work to ensure necessary resources are allocated, including team members, budget, and technology.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies for existing capabilities and processes, as well as future enhancements/implementations.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and work breakdown structures.
Analyze existing O2C processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks; design and implement improved processes and/or systems to streamline operations.
Implement industry best practices to optimize O2C performance.
Oversee data migration activities between systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Expertise Required:
Possess in-depth knowledge of multiple ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, GOMS, OneBMS, etc.).
Understand the intricacies of integrating ERP systems with other systems (e.g., CRM, WMS).
Ability to configure and customize ERP systems to optimize O2C processes.
By effectively managing these responsibilities, the Project Manager plays a crucial role in driving efficiency, reducing costs, and improving customer satisfaction within the supply chain.
