DESCRIPTION
The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst is responsible for preparing BI analyses and reports to support data-driven decision-making for key stakeholders. This role involves gathering reporting requirements, analyzing data, ensuring data quality, and delivering accurate, timely reports. The BI Analyst collaborates closely with senior analysts and BI leaders to meet the organization's reporting needs and ensures that all BI efforts align with Cummins' leadership behaviors and values.
Key Responsibilities :
- Gather and analyze reporting requirements to provide accurate, recurring reports.
- Perform quality assurance and validation of data and conclusions to ensure analysis accuracy.
- Select the appropriate analysis methods to address specific issues and deliver the most precise insights.
- Extract data from operational systems and databases to support decision-making processes.
- Utilize globally standardized dashboards and best reporting practices to support the organization's BI needs.
- Collaborate with senior BI analysts and BI leaders to clarify analysis intent and understand end-user requirements.
- Ensure timely and effective communication with key stakeholders on analysis and reporting.
- Build and uphold Cummins' leadership culture by demonstrating leadership behaviors consistently in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Skills and Experience :
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in BI analysis.
- Strong proficiency in SSIS, SQL , and Power BI .
- Experience analyzing data, developing accurate conclusions, and delivering reports required.
- Experience supporting a customer-focused organization preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications :
- A bachelor's degree in Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics , or a related quantitative field, or equivalent work experience, is required.
