We are looking for a talented Business Development Manager- Data Centre to join our team specializing in Sales for Power Systems in the Data Center market of Europe based in Milano, Lombardia, Italy.
This hybrid role involves travel to customers and suppliers, as well as working from home and the office.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Identify New Opportunities: By collaborating with Marketing and Sales Managers, you'll pinpoint attractive market segments and product lines to pursue.
Market Analysis: You'll gather and analyze data from various sources to support the identification and prioritization of market opportunities.

Customer Research: Conducting research on target accounts, you'll learn their business terminology and identify their current challenges and emerging needs.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain business relationships with potential accounts to understand their needs and priorities.
Proposal Development: Support the creation of new business proposals and may negotiate and close new sales with potential accounts.
Market Insights: Communicate emerging customer needs and market trends to the Business Development Manager to inform strategy.
Forecasting: Develop new product/business forecasts using Cummins tools and processes to support business growth.
Team Support: Mentor and motivate less experienced sales and account team staff, contributing to the overall sales strategy and team development.
Qualifications
Education/ Experience:
College, university, or equivalent degree in marketing, sales, technical or a related subject required, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.
