DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Data Center Support Service Supervisor to join our team specializing in Service for our Cummins Inc. facility in Columbus, OH.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Supervise and Coordinate : Oversee Service Technicians and Team Leaders, ensuring efficient scheduling and communication of repair plans.
- Enhance Productivity and Quality : Monitor and improve Technician productivity and repair quality through effective coaching and feedback.
- Provide Technical Support : Offer first-level support to Technicians and escalate issues as needed to ensure timely resolutions.
- Manage Service Logistics : Ensure the efficient use of materials, equipment, and personnel while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Accurate Quoting and Updates : Develop and review repair quotes for accuracy and keep customers informed of any changes in repair plans or schedules.
- Drive Continuous Improvement : Participate in process improvement activities to meet evolving customer expectations and organizational goals.
- Monitor and Address Repair Status : Track open repairs and address any issues that may impact the timely completion of repair plans.
- Maintain Customer Satisfaction : Resolve customer concerns, particularly related to warranties, and build strong relationships through professional communication.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline or relevant experience equivalent required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Intermediate level of relevant work experience in a technical field, including team leadership experience, required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Additional Information/Key Responsibilities:
- Bilingual proficiency in French preferred.
- This is a hybrid role.
- Candidate should be able to travel to Canada.
- May consider candidates within the Chicago, IL area.
- Manage issue resolution, including warranty and vendor-related concerns.
- Serve as the on-site safety lead for Cummins.
- Attend on-site meetings with clients and their partners.
- Participate in weekly update calls.
- Schedule preventive maintenance, break-fix, and warranty repairs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for strategic data center customers.
- Supervise a small team of technicians and coordinate their work schedules.
- Draft and submit Statements of Work (SOW) for customer repairs.
- Create and manage repair quotes.
- Coordinate repair work with third-party vendors.
- Collaborate with factory and engineering teams on complex troubleshooting tasks.
