We are looking for a talented ATPUKM Green Apprentice - Electrical to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Rocky Mount, NC.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Health and Safety Fundamentals : Proactively champion and model health and safety behaviors. Identify, report, and participate in actions to improve health and safety, contributing to an injury-free workplace.
- Controls Safety : Recognize hazards related to electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic controls in a manufacturing environment. Incorporate safe practices and procedures into your daily work plan to reduce injuries and create a safe machine environment.
- Electrical System Troubleshooting : Develop strong analytical skills to resolve and repair electrical issues in control systems, ensuring they return to proper operating conditions.
- Factory Automation and Control Systems : Implement changes to automate manufacturing processes using available technology and programming techniques. Identify the necessary materials and resources to complete projects and optimize automation.
- Machine Programming : Design and implement machine programs to improve the usage and overall operation of factory floor machines.
- Manufacturing Knowledge : Demonstrate a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. Implement changes in current processes, equipment, and applications to meet functional needs and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Team Collaboration : Communicate effectively with your team and participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.
- Continuous Learning : Engage in ongoing training and personal development to stay updated with industry standards and enhance your skills.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Minimal or no work experience required.
QUALIFICATIONS

Looking for maintenance technicians that understands maintenance is not just a job, but realize it is a career that requires continuous learning and growth.
Education and formal training beyond high school diploma is not required but there is a requirement that the applicant must join our apprenticeship program and go to school.
Electrical technician will be responsible for PMs, maintaining and repairing equipment that range from the latest in technology to legacy equipment with some project and new installation activities.
Become competent and proficient in PLC logic and robotics if skillset has not already been acquired.
Operates in a multi-craft capacity, performs electrical and mechanical maintenance.
Experience in a manufacturing industry a plus.
