DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an enthusiastic Product Change Management Business Administrator - Apprentice to join our team specializing in Product Change Management for our PSBU in United Kingdom, Daventry. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

This is a role that is 100% onsite. please bear this is mind when applying for this role.

Summary of the course:

The Product Change Management Business Administrator - Apprentice is a developmental position within the Product Change Management function. During the apprenticeship you will workdays per week in Cummins, inclusive of 1 day every fortnight for study at the apprenticeship academy. The working hours are 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday (with flexibility to suit business needs). On completion of this apprenticeship, you will obtain a professional Level 3 business admin qualification.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Working under the guidance of the VPI / PCM coordinator, the apprentice will be involved with all aspects of engineering change management and introduction of new, unique and upgraded parts and products within the plant.

• Prepare and present detailed department score cards for review on a monthly and quarterly basis to senior management.

• Continuous collation of data attributed to the business using Oracle/Excel/Windchill.

• Collaborating with external business functions to understand the entire new part introduction process from initial engineering design through to full production implementation, including support during infant care and build of the end product.

• Support NPI engineering builds through the manufacturing process.

• Responsibilities can expand depending on the business needs and the skill set of the applicant.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Minimum 5 GCSE at 4/C or above including English level 5/B and Math's level 4/C. With applicants studying towards Business Administration or Business-related topic.
  • Good PC literacy - MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Practical approach to support technical innovation, be able to recommend improvements, ability to manage own projects.
  • Softs skills to be considered are attention to detail, analytical skills, communication skills (verbal and written), time management and prioritization skills, proactive attitude.
