DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Administrative Associate - Level II to join our team specializing in Quality for our new Cummins Inc. Regional Distribution Center in Las Vegas, NV.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Efficient Data Management : Accurate gathering, compiling, and entry of data, ensures that the team has reliable information for decision-making.
- Streamlined Administrative Processes : Your support in preparing reports, presentations, and forms will help streamline administrative tasks, making the team more efficient.
- Enhanced Communication : By responding to routine inquiries and redirecting them as necessary, you'll facilitate smooth communication within and outside the organization.
- Meeting Coordination : Arranging conference calls and scheduling meetings will help keep the team organized and ensure that important discussions happen on time.
- Vendor and Supplier Management : Preparing documentation for payments and handling inquiries from accounts payable will ensure that vendors and suppliers are paid promptly, maintaining good relationships.
- Policy and Procedure Documentation : By documenting and maintaining departmental policies and procedures, you'll help ensure that everyone follows the correct processes.
- Team Collaboration : Participating in business improvement projects will allow you to contribute to the team's success and bring new ideas to the table.
- General Administrative Support : Performing routine administrative activities will help keep the department running smoothly and support the overall goals of the organization.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Additional Information:
This ONSITE position will have responsibility for:
- Processing shipment discrepancies and manage the flow of returned products to sellable inventory or quality related disposition.
- Ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of claims to meet customer and RDC expectations.
- Partnering with warehouse team to ensure organizational/5S practices are adopted and sustained.
- Reporting DPMO on a regular basis, identify process improvement opportunities and address them properly with stakeholders.
- Managing relationship with key stakeholders, including internal partners, customers and supply chain services to ensure standardization of process flows and communication.
- Preparing and presenting quality updates weekly / monthly / quarterly.
- Knowledge of GOMS and/or BMS transactional processes is preferred.
