We are looking for a talented Spare Parts Technician to join our team specializing in Logistics for our CUMMINS in Mazapil, Minera Penasquito (Zacatecas).

The Parts Technician reports to the Parts Leader and provides support to the Parts Management for Peñasquito projects. He/she is responsible for inventory control, spare parts ordering, import and export coordination, transportation logistics and customer service, ensuring the availability and proper management of spare parts.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Administrative Activities
- Answering calls, handling messages and receiving visitors in a professional manner.
- Draft and format administrative documents such as reports, minutes and contracts.
- Organize and file documentation, distribute correspondence and manage supplies.
- General activities:
- Manage Peñasquito's spare parts inventory, including inbound and outbound.
- Place orders, coordinate imports/exports and register movements in NetSuite.
- Coordinate the registration of spare parts with the client Newmont Peñasquito.
- Manage parts collection processes from customers.
- Transportation of spare parts:
- Coordinate freight from Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, to Mazapil, Zacatecas.
- Supervise parts returns and transportation logistics.
- Services and Customer Service:
- Follow up on requests and deliveries of spare parts.
- Maintain in good condition the fixed assets owned and rented.
- Attend meetings with customers to manage spare parts.
- Security and Documentary Control:
- Supervise delivery of PPE and check service vans.
- Comply with safety, ecology and environmental regulations.
- Manage documentation and safety forms (JSO/JSA).
Qualifications
Education: High School, TSU or Technical Career in related areas.
Responsibilities
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Inventory management and document control.
- Attention to suppliers and customers.
- Coordination of transportation logistics and storage of spare parts.
- Computer equipment and administrative software (preferably NetSuite).
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel
