DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented 2nd Shift - Assembler Technician to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Manning, SC.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Safe Operations : By operating machines and production equipment safely and adhering to HSE standards, you will help maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Hazard Reporting : Promptly reporting any major injury hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions will contribute to the overall safety and well-being of the team.
  • Quality Assurance : Following standard work procedures and performing quality inspections will ensure that products meet high standards and customer expectations.

  • Efficient Production : Operating equipment to meet production goals and working at the required cycle time will ensure timely and efficient manufacturing processes.

  • Continuous Improvement : Actively participating in initiatives to improve quality, safety, processes, and material flow will drive ongoing enhancements in operations.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance : Maintaining a clean and orderly work area, performing routine housekeeping tasks, and assisting with equipment maintenance will support overall productivity and safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
  • Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.

Additional Information

  • 2nd Shift -Assembler Technician | Mon - Fri | 5pm - 2:30am
  • The Assembler Technician is responsible to produce assemblies that meet all customer quality requirements.
  • The Assembler Technician will become competent in all functions within the Assembler Technician process as assigned by supervision, including but not limited to assembly of braking system components (cam brakes, ASA, etc.), inspection of assemblies, stack & band function, loading, forklift operation and material handling.
