Reporting to the Senior Analyst Global HR Reporting; the Workday Reporting and Security Analyst develops different type of reports in workday. You will need be responsible for all workday functional areas and their related business processes, Workday data structures including organisations and hierarchies, security to support business objects, reports, calculated fields. You will also be responsible for EIBs to support sending data to external emails. We are looking for moderate functional process knowledge to understand requirements and translate them into working Workday configuration.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Workday report development using native workday reporting tools, Qliksense, Qlikview, PowerBI, and ensure the successful implementation of new functionality and processes.

  • You will manager the deliverables, scope of work, partner with internal/external teams ensure end-to-end coverage, good end user solutions and ensure overall quality.
  • You will partner with HR Centres of Excellence understand requirements.
  • Configure, Document & test new Workday reports per requirements.
  • Understand the security model and partner with the manager to make changes in security
  • Develop dashboards and self-service reports and reduce operational ad-hoc report requests.
  • Develop custom reports to support transnational level details, partner with Reporting team to help develop advance analytics for the subject area.
  • Create data dictionary of metadata and document complex calculations.
  • Develop standards to document summary of report configuration of requirements, conceptual design, and end-to-end processes.
  • Create workflows in ETL to automatically transform the data to create dashboards and maintain data integrity.
  • Partner with the internal testing team to ensure the development of high-quality test cases and the delivery of quality solutions.
  • Partner with teams in the analysis, identification of new and features development, testing and implementation of enhancements/releases (new integrations, Workday updates).
  • Partner with our Business Technology (BT) and Change and Communication partners.

  • Required Experience and Education:
    • 2-5 years of analytical experience, using HCM systems, preferably Workday.
    • Prior experience in developing complex queries to extract the data using SQL or related query language.
    • Experience working in a consulting environment is preferred.
    • Have prior working experience in agile project management.

    Requirements:
    • The ability to develop and present ideas using MS Office, including PowerPoint and Excel (charts & graphs)
    • Exceptional problem solving skills, with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement
    • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
