Senior Manager, Competitive Intelligence

The Senior Manager, Competitive Intelligence is responsible for all Competitive Intelligence (CI) support across entire CSLB inline portfolio for the affiliates across US and INT regions.

You will be critical for investigating and answering key business questions for the affiliate influencing commercial decisions and following global guidelines and best practices.

Responsibilities:

•Develop and lead cross-functional processes for understanding and analyzing CSL's competitors' strategy and associated portfolio

•Analyze and predict the impact of competitors' movements on CSL (organization of war gaming, scenario planning)

•Share within the company the possible movements of the competition and related potential impact to CSL

•Understand, analyze, and share data and trends on different therapeutic areas of interest and related competitors move.

•Utilize multiple sources of information, including external databases, data collected from market studies conducted within the team, etc.

Qualifications:

•BA/BS degree required. Masters, PhD, or equivalent graduate degree; life science discipline a plus

•7+ years' experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry

•Experience in rare diseases within CSL Behring focused therapy areas as well as specialty product analytics is considered a plus

•Expertise in conducting primary and secondary competitive intelligence within the biopharma industry with understanding of the CI compliance and SCIP guidelines

•Experience and ability to integrate marketing and science in multiple disease states and therapy areas. Experience with clinical data interpretation as well as competitive intelligence.

•Ability to extract key insights from CI research, and communicating them clearly to cross-functional stakeholders at various management levels

•Deep knowledge of various syndicated CI data-sources, vendors, and systems - both global and regional; and their capabilities/limitations related to competitive insights delivery

•Strong interpersonal skills to quickly build rapport and credibility with organization leaders and key external stakeholders

•Excellent communication, and relationship-building abilities
